What is a Consultation, and do I need one?
No, not necessarily! Some folks know exactly what they want, and we say hats off to you! But some of us have a less linear path to finding our balance and wellness. A Consultation is a great way being your healing journey. Sometimes we feel like we are running in circles to get results or relief. During a Consultation, you'd meet with us to discuss your wellness and/or spiritual (no, we don't mean religious) journey. We'd be happy to listen, work through your concerns, and help make a comprehensive plan of services to help you reach your goals. We want you to feel good! A Consultation is generally 45-60 minutes, and we do prefer in person sessions, if possible. It is $50 and you will receive $25 in a voucher off your first service (to be used within 2 months.) You can book a Consultation online or via email or phone.
How do I prepare for my Session?
Float: We have everything you need! We provide towel, washcloth, ear plugs, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Swim caps and combs are for sale at the front desk should you wish to purchase them or bring your own. We do have a hair dryer by request. If you prefer a specific kind of soap or shampoo, we encourage you to bring that along. You may not want to overdo coffee before your float (there is no bathroom in the float room) but also so you can relax. Hydrate!
Plunge: Most of the Plunge experience is mental. If you think you might want to listen to music, bring your headphones/earbuds.
BioCharger: Not much to prepare for other than thinking of the goals you would like to accomplish with the BioCharger.
Sauna: Nothing to do to prepare unless you’d like to wear something specific. Hydrate! Consider bringing a water bottle.
Bio Mat: No prep needed. We do encourage you to wear cotton clothing. Hydrate!
Ionic Foot Bath: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate! Super important. The machine cannot “pull” toxins without enough water to conduct.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Friendly people and awesome service, of course! If it’s your first time visiting us, we will ask you to complete a waiver/intake form at the front desk. If you gave your cell phone number at booking, some forms will be texted to you when you receive your reminder message. Please feel free to fill the forms out at that time.
What Do I Wear?
Float: Most people elect to float in their birthday suit. Others prefer a bathing suit. You are welcome to do what is comfortable for you.
Plunge: Birthday suit or bathing suit. (Bathing suit doesn't make the water feel less cold, just so you know.) If you are filming yourself with your phone, please wear a bathing suit.
BioCharger: Most clothing is fine. Metal is discouraged as it is a conductor, so please keep that in mind.
Sauna: Lighter clothing is better. Shorts and T-Shirt, bathing suit, or we can provide you with a robe. Many people tell us they don't wear any clothing in the sauna.
Bio Mat: Cotton clothing is recommended.
Acupressure Mat: You can undress to your comfort level, although staying fully clothed from the waist down is routinely reported to be the norm. There will be a sheet/blanket on the table for you to cover yourself as you wish.
Hot Stone Reiki: You generally stay clothed during a reiki session. For Hot Stone Reiki, we would encourage a thin, cotton t-shirt or a sports bra. There will be an option of a sheet to cover yourself as well, if that is preferred.
Ionic Foot Bath: Pant legs that can be pulled up to mid-calf is helpful.
Massage: You are welcome to undress to your comfort level. Sheets will be folded and draped accordingly throughout your session.
What does it feel like DURING my Session?
Float: Like you’re floating in a swimming pool. Even if you say you can’t float – trust us – you WILL float. The water temperature is supposed to match your skin temperature, giving you the feeling that you are one with the water and free floating. Some folks experience that sensation and others don’t. There is no right or wrong way to float. It’s about laying back and relaxing.
Plunge: Well, it feels cold. But, the session is relatively short, so the cold really only lasts as long as you are in the plunge tank. (If wearing a bathing suit, we recommend changing out of it soon after you step out of the plunge so the cold of he suit doesn't stay close to you.) Deep breathing will be your friend. ;) The benefits of plunging are numerous and you will be happy you did it.
BioCharger: Some people can feel the energy during the session and some people are less likely to feel it. You will sit about 3 to 6 feet from the BioCharger, unless you have metal your body. (Then we will encourage you to sit further than 6 feet away.) BioCharger is meant to be relaxing, so meditating, or stretching, or journaling during your session are a few of the options we would recommend. (BioCharger doesn't like electrical devices close by when it is running. So cell phones, tablets, and your kindle will need to be placed on the counter or in the cubby.)
Sauna: It feels hot and sweaty!
Bio Mat: It mostly feels like laying on a large heating pad. You may also feel the infrared effect from the crystals. Some people say they feel a tingling or pulsing in a specific area.
Acupressure Mat: Prickly! You might feel some discomfort in the beginning of your session. But as the session progresses, you should begin to feel more relaxed and comfortable.
Hot Stone Reiki: You should feel relaxed and the warmth of the stone during the session. The stone should feel warm/hot to the touch, but should not feel a burning sensation.
Ionic Foot Detox: Most people do not feel anything during the session. Sometimes folks that are sensitive or very in tune with their bodies may feel a slight pull in the area that is being detoxed. But, most do not.
Massage: You will have the opportunity to discuss areas of soreness, pressure, etc. prior to your session beginning. Please feel free to talk to your Therapist during the session should you like pressure or technique adjusted. You should not feel pain or be uncomfortable! Some people like to chat throughout their massage, some prefer quiet. It is okay to let your Therapist know your preference.
What does it feel like AFTER my Session?
Float: Varies by person. Some people are very energized. Others are ready to take a nap. Most tell us they have a GREAT night sleep after a floating session. If you have chronic muscle soreness and pain, you will likely feel relief in the day(s) after floating. (Often times folks do not necessarily recall the absence of pain until pain returns.) Please remember to hydrate!
Plunge: Congrats on doing something that requires some mental toughness. Some people feel the benefits immediately. Elevated mood, reduced inflammation, increased energy, less pain.....these are some things people have reported feeling after their session. Consistency is key.... The more you plunge, the more you feel.
BioCharger: Depending on which recipes you did during your session, this will indicate how you might feel afterwards. The BioCharger effects will build upon each other and the more consistency you have with your sessions, you can expect to feel the more benefits more easily.
Sauna: Most people do not notice any prominent feelings after a sauna session. Please remember to hydrate!
Bio Mat: You will mostly feel relaxed. Please remember to hydrate!
Ionic Foot Bath: Many people report feeling “cleaner” and lighter with more energy. Please remember to hydrate!
Massage: Relaxed! Please remember to hydrate!

How is the Float Pod Cleaned?
The Float Pod is similar to a pool or hot tub when it comes to maintenance. The good news is that just the nature of a salt pod makes it even more naturally cleanly. Pathogens cannot live in salt water, and with 900 lbs of salt, nothing can survive in that environment. But, we also treat the tank between floats. It has its own filtration system that cycles between appointments. We also add hydrogen peroxide, bromine, sea clear, and other chemicals approved for pod use. The pod room (surfaces, shower, floor) is sanitized between every person. Everyone receives fresh linens.
Can I float while pregnant?
We first recommend checking with your doctor, but generally floating is safe during all phases of pregnancy. In fact, many women love floating in the 3rd trimester, as it is a safe environment in which to lay flat on your back! The tank if heated to skin temperature (94.5 degrees), so it is no warmer than a hot bath. It is NOT a hot tub. If you prefer a lower temperature, please let us know upon booking and we will place a note in your appointment file to set the temperature lower prior to your visit. You can always leave the lid open as well during your float to let cooler air into the pod. The tank will retain heat, but does not continuously heat throughout your session.
Do I need to set a timer?
That’s our job! Of course, you are welcome to time your own session, but please allow us to manage that part for you! It’s your turn to lay back and relax.
Can I change the temperature?
Float: If you are in the float pod and you know prior to your session that you would like the temperature adjusted up or down 1 to 2 degrees, we can place a note in your appointment file to adjust the temperature prior to you appointment time. We do need at least 15 minutes to regulate temperature. Once the float session begins, the pod does not continuously heat. If you would like to make it cooler, please feel free to float with the pod lid open.
Plunge: You can request the temperature to be increased or lowered a couple degrees. We can offer a range of 39 degrees to 46 degrees.
Bio Mat: Yes! Please let us know if you would like the temperature adjusted at any time! We will check in with you during your session.
Sauna: Yes! The temperature controls are located inside the sauna. The sauna will not heat above 140 degrees for your safety, but you are welcome to lower the temperature at any time. You can also open the sauna door if you would like cooler air to enter the space. Of course, please exit the sauna if you feel it is too hot or making you feel unwell.
What are your hours?
We are open by appointment only.
Can I Book Online?
Yes! Gift cards and services are available to book online. You may come across a specific service that you might need to call or email to schedule, but most you can book online. You can also request appointments through email at ([email protected]) and through Facebook Messenger.
What BioCharger package or session is right for me?
When it comes to the BioCharger, there are so many combinations, it can be difficult to decide what to choose! We put together a little guide to help your selection process.
1 Private Session (or packages for private sessions) - Channeled or In Person
The beauty of the BioCharger is that there are literally thousands of recipes to choose from, and many work in combination with another. A private session is about an hour long. It can be done in the office or channeled directly to you wherever you are in the world. It works for people and pets. We'd work together to identify 3-4 programs that best suit your goals. This is a great selection for someone who has multiple things to work on. For example, High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea, and Adrenal issues. The combinations are endless, but with this type of session we can overlay the sessions to really focus on several of your areas of concern in one session. You can purchase private sessions in 5 or 10 packs as well. We can customize between sessions.
1 Recipe Session - Channeled or In Person
With this option, you'd select just one recipe you'd like to focus on. The session is generally 20 minutes. It can be done in the office or channeled directly to you wherever you are in the world. It works for people and pets. For example, perhaps you're recovering from an injury and are looking for one program that targets muscle repair. You can purchase as many individual 1 recipe sessions as you'd like to try different things.
1 Recipe Sessions Charged & Concentrated 10 Pack - Channeled or In Person
Similar to the 1 Recipe session, you'd select just one recipe you'd like to focus on. The session is generally 20 minutes. It can be done in the office or channeled directly to you wherever you are in the world. It works for people and pets. As with many things, the BioCharger is most effective if used consistently. This 10 pack accommodates just that! You would purchase 10 sessions of one recipe. You'd plan to use all 10 sessions within a short timeframe (1 month or less). For example, if you need help with Abnormal Cell Growth, this is a good option for you. It works well when you are looking to not only tackle an existing problem but also are working to try and get ahead of it reoccuring.
Group Session - Channeled or In Person
We set up BioCharger Sessions several times per month by theme. For example, Energy and Sleep Quality. A session is generally 45 minutes, and will consist of 2-3 recipes, depending upon the theme. With this option, the recipes have been preselected as is the session time (vs scheduling one on one private sessions). You are also sharing this session with up to 5 other participants at the same time. It can be done in the office or channeled directly to you wherever you are in the world. It works for people and pets.
